To decrease loading speeds, browsers can save some website data in the cache so that it does not need to be loaded again next time. Occasionally, however, this can cause pages to display incorrectly when a page has recently been updated or when erroneous data has been stored. This tutorial will show you how to clear your cache in different browsers.
Google Chrome

Click the menu button in the top right corner. It looks like three horizontally stacked lines.

Go to More tools > Clear browsing data.

Choose "the beginning of time" in the dropdown menu next to "Obliterate the following items from..."

Check Cached images and files.

Click Clear browsing data.
Mozilla Firefox

Click the menu button (it looks like three horizontally stacked lines) and click Preferences.

Go to Advanced and click on the Network tab.

Under Cached Web Content, click the "Clear Now" button.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9, 10, and 11
- Click the settings gear icon in the top right corner. Hover over Safety and click Delete browsing History.
- Uncheck Preserve Favorites website data.
- Check Temporary Internet files and Cookies.
- Click the Delete button.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 8

Click Tools in the top right corner and then Internet Options
- Click on the General tab and click the Delete... button
- Uncheck Preserve Favorites website data.
- Check Temporary Internet files and Cookies.
- Click the Delete button.
Microsoft Edge

Click the Hub icon (it looks like three horizontally stacked bars) and then the History icon (looks like a clock).
- Click Clear all History.
- Check Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files.
- Click the Clear button.
Apple Safari
- Go to Safari > Preferences.
- Go to the Privacy tab.
- Click Remove all website data... and then Remove now.
Opera
- Go to Settings > Delete Private Data.
- Click Detailed Options. A list with checkboxes should appear.
- Make sure these options are checked: Delete temporary cookies, Delete all cookies, Delete entire cache.
- Click the Delete button.
